Las Vegas, Nevada, better known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, offers over 100 different live production events on any given night. The need to support live productions in Las Vegas and around the world with knowledgeable and experienced technical staff demanded the creation of Live Production Institute.

Based in the heart of Las Vegas, LPI’s 12 acre campus encompasses over 307,000 square feet including 20 live sound stages, 63 labs and control suites, 52 classrooms and a 30,000 square foot live concert venue.

Live Production Institute integrates its professional facility with industry standard equipment, hands-on education, and training by the industry’s most competent and recognized professionals. LPI students have the opportunity to obtain over 20 manufacturer recognized certifications when electing to enroll in the Lighting, Audio, Video or Stage Technology programs. Each program requires students to participate in, at least, 8 live productions; from design and setup to strike or tear down. These productions give the students a unique opportunity to showcase their training and talents in front of Live Production Institute’s manufacturer partners and potential employers from internationally recognized entertainment companies. LPI offers students a unique learning experience rooted in practical understanding and hands-on teaching methods, alternative to that found in a degree-based training program.
